How the zero-knowledge architecture protects your files.
Yes. Your file is encrypted with AES-256-GCM inside your browser before upload, and the decryption key is derived from your password using PBKDF2 with 400,000 iterations. The password never leaves your device, and our servers only ever store encrypted ciphertext.
No. Secure file sharing requires no signup, no email address and no payment. Open the page, choose a file, set a password and share the link.
You can share files up to 100MB. Files are uploaded in encrypted 5MB chunks, so even large files transfer reliably on slower connections.
You choose the expiry: 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours or 24 hours. When the time is up, the file is permanently deleted from our storage and the link stops working.
No. This is a zero-knowledge system: encryption and decryption happen only in your browser. Our servers store encrypted chunks on Cloudflare R2 and cannot decrypt them, even if they wanted to.
